Pre-start site surveys – project planning – product installation – project management
Appointed at an early stage, TeamFFE were tasked with undertaking pre-start surveys and then project planning to ensure this high profile installation could be completed within a very tight time schedule.
TeamFFE also advised on vehicle access due to site time constraints and low buildings.
The product installation was part of a total refurbishment of the existing lecture theatre (top picture), forming part of a multi-million pound project within one of Scotland’s leading teaching hospitals.
Working closely with the product manufacturer and main contractor, TeamFFE provided a full site team. Due to site access requirements all product had to be manually handled, via staircases, to the actual area of installation.
Once in the final build area TeamFFE ensured their site team worked with other subcontractors so-as to ensure final building works, and snagging, could be completed without the furniture installation impacting on the final project hand-over date.
